Illawarra Fly Treetop Adventures

Drive from Canberra via Illawarra Fly Treetop Adventures to Sydney Airport

We drove from Canberra, ACT, via Illawarra Fly Treetop Adventures in the Illawarra Ranges on the way to Sydney Airport, NSW, Australia.

I traveled with my daughter. Traveling with my daughter, I can always find myself experiencing something that I wouldn't have expected to do.

On this occasion, it was walking downhill to the barriers where you start the walk through the tree tops. Along the way, there were activities to entertain kids and adults.

On the right side of us, we saw a group of people who were experiencing the zipline adventure through the treetops.

The barriers were made of  metal with see through gaps. In the middle was a spiral staircase tower. My daughter climbed up to the top and took some photos which I edited.

We walked through all the barriers to the end. The last platform had the metal with see through gaps. So, my daughter took some more photos of the landscape which I edited. Besides these two photos, I photographed the images and edited them.

We were 20 to 30 metres off the ground high up in the tree tops. And, there were trees still taller than us. It was a 1.5 km walk.

At the end of the walk, there were stairs to climb back up to the exit.  On a board, there was a phone number. And, you could call it to arrange a pick up for those that need help.

So, we used this service cause of me.

The View from Illawarra Treetop Walk

These two images of the landscape that are from the tower and the end of the the treetop walk were photographed by my daughter.

And, I created the final images in post-production.
